	With its tuffeau stone walls and grey slate roof topped by soft pink brick chimneys, Le Bignon is typical of manor houses built in the region in the second half of the eighteenth century. Convenient for ferry ports (Caen 2.5 hours), low cost flights (Tours 75 mins, Nantes 90 mins) and TGV (Angers 20 mins), our elegant manor house rests in 4 acres of peaceful grounds, including a heated pool, providing immediate relaxation ith quality home comforts.
	And yet it is within easy reach of major chateaux, vineyards, the historic centre of Angers, Fontevraud and Tours and the magical town of Saumur, offering a holiday to rememnber. Or why not combine a relaxing stay at Le Bignon with a trip to Paris - just 90 minutes by high speed train from Angers or a 2.5 hour drive...
