Le Bignon is perfectly situated for either a short
break or a full scale holiday. We are approx 2.5 hours
drive south west of Paris, an easy 25 minutes drive e
ast of Angers and
35 minutes north west of Saumur.
A number of low cost airlines fly from numerous points in
the UK to either Paris (2.5 hours drive), Angers (10
mins), Tours (75 minutes) or Nantes (90 minutes).
High speed trains (TGV) link up with Eurostar from London
St Pancras to Tours or Angers.
By ferry, the western routes from Portsmouth, Poole or
Plymouth allow a shorter drive in France than the Dover
or Folkestone routes. However, the opening of the new A28
motorway has reduced the drive from Boulogne to 4.5
hours.
