Holiday with confidence in this 18th century Loire Manor House

Tariffs:

Chambres d'Hôtes:
1,2,3 nights = €95 per night inclusive breakfast buffet
4 plus nights= €80 per night inclusive breakfast buffet
Suitable for children of 12 and over.

Vine House:
Low Season: € 585 per week, 110 per night, minimum 4 nights
Mid Season: € 1310 per week, 225 per night, minimum 4 nights
High Season: € 1585 per week
Suitable for children of all ages, please note that small children should be supervised at all times

Swimming pool, available for all guests from approx 0800 until 2100 daily (May to September inclusive weather permitting) Unbreakable glasses are provided for use at poolside – no standard glass is permitted.

All users of the pool undertake to deactivate the mandatory pool alarm system prior to entering the pool. The safety of children remains the responsibility of parents. All children must be supervised when using the pool area.  Please ensure that infants and toddlers wear swimming nappies as appropriate.  Please note that use of the pool is at your own risk.

Pets – we regret that no pets are permitted in the house or grounds.

Smoking- to maintain a pleasant environment for all our guests, we respectfully request that you do not smoke indoors.

Dinner is €28 per head for 4 courses plus coffee and is available on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings. A buffet supper may be available from 7pm on Sunday evenings at € 18 per head. A menu will be circulated at breakfast time and dinner can be ordered up to 10am . Dinner is served at 8pmin the Dining Room.
We regret that Dinner is not available for Vine House guests under 12 years old but we are happy to provide an earlier children’s meal served in Vine House between 5 and 6pm. A baby listener is provided to enable you to relax over Dinner.

Arrivals – we look forward to welcoming you between 4pm and 7pm. We cannot guarantee that your accommodation will be ready for occupation or that we will be on the premises before 4pm. We request that you vacate your accommodation by 10.30am on the day of departure.

Reservations and Deposits – Reservations should be confirmed in writing by returning a completed booking form (either by email or by post) and 20% deposit, (accepted in sterling) either by cheque made payable to Wendy Chapman or by bank transfer (account details supplied on booking).

Payments:

Chambres d'Hôtes:
Payment of the balance of your account is due in euros on the morning of departure. Payments can be made in cash, euro denomination travellers’ cheques or by a French euro bank cheque. We regret that we are unable to accept credit or debit cards.

Vine House:
Payment of the Balance is due in euros 8 weeks prior to arrival on invoice.
Payment Options:
(please allow 5 working days for the monies to arrive in our account after payment has been arranged.)
By sterling cheque, debit card or credit card: we can accept payments via First Rate FX Ltd who usually offer a more favourable exchange rate than the high street banks.  Please note they will require proof of identity prior to any transaction.They make no charge for payments by cheque or debit card and a handling charge of 3% for payment by credit card.  Contact and account details will be given on the invoice. 
By direct bank transfer to our account at Societe Generale.  Relevant account details are given on the invoice.

Cancellations: please notify us as soon as possible and confirm in writing.  Cancellation charges are as follows:
Chambres d'Hôtes: Up to 2 weeks prior to arrival = loss of deposit.  Less than 2 weeks prior to arrival = full payment due.
Vine House: After confirmation = loss of deposit. After due date for final payment = loss of rental monies unless we are able to re-let Vine House in which case we will refund the rental monies paid by the subsequent renter up to the amount paid by yourselves.  

Insurance – we strongly recommend that you take out adequate holiday insurance to cover you for personal liability incurred with respect to any damage to house, grounds and pool caused by any member of your party as well as to protect you from charges incurred through cancellation.

Disclaimer - We cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any injury, damage or loss to clients or any member of their party or any of their property whilst using Vine House, Le Bignon, grounds, car park or pool.

Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions– completing the booking form implies knowledge and acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Party Leader – the person signing the booking form is deemed to be the Party Leader and is responsible for all members of his/her party adhering to these terms and conditions.
